Show: Grand Champion & BIS

In January 2009 I met Dare in Adelaide and was able to spend some time with him. He is a very balanced dog with correct size, great topline, dark eye and super movement. He is a happy, outgoing dog that loves to retrieve. While Tina's love is the showring, Dare's siblings have also shown great success in retrieving, tracking and obedience. Dare is very people orientated and his favourite trick is to climp up on his mums lap and smooch up to her face. Tina describes him as an active dog outside and a lap dog inside.

Dare's biggest wins include:

  • Show Dog of the Year 2007 & Interstate Show Dog of the Year 2007, Flatcoated Retriever Association of Victoria
  • Interstate Show Dog of the Year 2008, Flatcoated Retriever Association of Victoria
  • Top Showing Flatcoat 2007 & 2008, Gundog Club of SA
  • 05/10/08 Dare became the youngest Flatcoat in Australian history to become a Grand Ch
  • 1 Best in Show, 1 RU Best in Show, 5 Best in Group, 5 RU Best in Group, 5 Class in Shows and 33 Class in Group

Show: Champion

Kajsa is a fun loving girl with all retriever qualities. She amazes me by her ability to learn and her will to please. Kajsa shows a lot of natural ability in tracking and retrieving and never gives up until the job is done. She is a very stylish, medium sized bitch with a beautiful head and great movement. Kajas loves people and there aren't many people that can go pass her without giving her a cuddle. At home she is most happy to spend a Sunday afternoon with her mum in the hammock or just relax upside down in her basket.

Kajsa's biggest wins include:

  • Perth Royal Show 2007: BOB at just 17 months of age
  • First Flacoat in Western Australia to be a class winner at the State Obedience Trial in 2008
  • T.J. Encouragement Award Novice 2008, Retrieving Club of Western Australia

A big thank you goes to Tina from Skyehaven Flatcoats in South Australia for lending us her handsome Dare.

I would also like to thank Anneli from Flatterhaft Flatcoats in Sweden for breeding such wonderful dogs. Anneli, I will never forget all you have done for me.

We are very exicted about this combination which will only produce black puppies. (Puppies are due 29th October and will be ready to go to their new homes when they are 8 weeks old)

Puppies are available to responsible forever homes with owners who will give them the very best love and care.

  • Our puppies are whelped in our home and lovingly raised in a family environment with exposure to many aspects of our day to day life.
  • Hip/elbow/eye tested prior to breeding and we only breed from dogs/bitches that have good results.
  • All puppies are vaccinated, wormed and treated with heartworm and flea prevention.
  • All puppies come with a puppy information pack and ongoing breeder support. We would also love to get updates on how *the kids* are going in their new homes.
